W/C Summer at the Empress, Victoria Canada. Approaching Victoria from the water is very dramatic. The Empress Hotel and harbor are framed by flower baskets. It is romantic as well as very beautiful. I always enjoy our sojourns to Victoria.

Quebec Cafe
W/C “Le Bistro”, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Quebec City or old medieval Quebec with its walled city is fascinating. It certainly has the flavor of any French village along a river. There were so many intriguing scenes to paint, I would love to spend many weeks there. This café appeared so very inviting that I had to paint it.
